Most Costa del Sol kids' clubs start at four. That single number is what separates these five properties more than star rating or price. Here is exactly which ages each one will take without a parent present — with the red line marking three.

The Heroes Crèche covers 6 months to 4 years and is run to UK Ofsted standards — the most credentialled option on the list. It runs in three blocks: morning 10:00–13:00, lunch 13:00–15:00, afternoon 15:00–18:00, so you can take a half-day rather than surrendering the whole one.
It is not included in the all-inclusive rate. Caregiver-to-toddler ratios are tight and it books out months ahead; for a peak-August eclipse week, reserve it the day you confirm the room.
Heated zero-entry splash pools, baby monitors on request, and a beach childcare service where staff supervise on the sand while you swim — the closest thing here to actually being off-duty.

The official "Monkeys" Star Camp starts at four. Under that, she cannot be dropped off — but she is fully welcome in the indoor play areas, arts and toys with a parent present. In practice this is a supervised-play property, not a childcare one: plan on both of you being on duty.
Location does the heavy lifting — straight onto the Golden Mile beach, which removes the daily logistics of getting a toddler to sand. There is a dedicated shallow toddler splash pool with soft water features, and the property is walkable to Puerto Banús.

The Ole Baby Club runs from 6 months up to 3 years — soft play, psychomotor activities and crafts in a closely supervised room. It carries a daily fee on top of the B&B rate.
The upper limit is the catch. Coverage ends precisely at the age she reaches on 7 August, so confirm in writing how they handle a child turning three mid-stay before booking anything that straddles that date.
The main family pool has a large, gradual shallow area that's ideal for wading. The grounds are unusually spacious and quiet — good for stroller walks and for naps that actually happen. Guests consistently single out the kids' club staff.

Petit Club Med is a separate club just for two- and three-year-olds — not a toddler annexe bolted onto a bigger kids' club. Supervised activities run from morning through to evening, with age-appropriate games and outdoor exploration, and it is generally included in the package. Evening babysitting is charged extra.
This is the only property on the list where full-day childcare doesn't come with a separate invoice.
The in-room logistics are unmatched: on request, rooms are pre-stocked with a step stool, a potty, bed rails and anti-slip bath mats. There are dedicated shallow pools and water play areas across the estate.

No drop-off crèche at this age. It's parents, or a privately hired in-room babysitter — which needs arranging well ahead for eclipse week, when local sitters will be scarce.
The layout, more than the programming. A full kitchen means you can prep exactly the snacks she'll eat, and separate bedrooms mean nobody sits in the dark through a 2 p.m. nap. Multiple zero-entry pools, proper outdoor playgrounds, and direct access to a flat, walkable stretch of Elviria beach.
The nightly rates aren't comparable as they stand. Two adjustments change the order.
La Zambra's €1,076 is bed & breakfast at a 5-star resort with no beach walk to a cheap lunch. Budget realistically for two adults and a toddler eating lunch and dinner out: at €130–180 a day, the effective nightly cost lands somewhere around €1,210–1,255 — inside touching distance of Iberostar's all-inclusive €1,171, and that's before the baby-club fee.
Marriott's room-only rate will need the same treatment, though a kitchen absorbs a lot of it.
Ikos and La Zambra both charge for the crèche on top of an already-premium rate. Club Med includes it. Iberostar and Marriott don't offer it at all, which is a cost of a different kind.
Before comparing anything further, get the crèche day rate from Ikos and La Zambra in writing — for a five-night stay with two or three half-days booked, it's a material number, not a rounding error.
The €152/night gap over Iberostar covers à la carte restaurants, premium drinks, the Dine Out programme at local restaurants, and a complimentary car for local exploring. Judged as a total holiday budget rather than a room rate, the two are much closer than the headline suggests — and Ikos is the only one of them with drop-off childcare.
The two pending rates are for the exact week that half of Europe's eclipse chasers will be booking. Rates on the Costa del Sol for 1–3 August 2027 are more likely to rise than fall, and minimum-stay restrictions tend to appear on eclipse dates.
Two of your three logged rates are already secured. The open question is whether waiting until October 2026 for Club Med is worth the risk on the one property with included full-day childcare for this age.
All five properties sit inside the path of totality, so nobody has to drive anywhere on the morning — which, with a toddler, is most of the argument for basing yourselves here in the first place.
